In front of Chickasha's Lincoln Elementary School is a granite bench, placed in memory of Jeanne Elliott.

Born on March 6, 1945, she passed away on December 27, 2002. She substituted at Lincoln Elementary and was very well liked by the students and faculty alike.

Her bench is engraved: "In Memory of Jeanne Elliott - A Friend to Everyone at Lincoln".
