The Oklahoma Centennial Clock and Bell Project started in 2007 made these clocks available to towns and businesses throughout the State, as a way to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Oklahoma Statehood. The response was terrific and you will find these clocks standing in downtown areas, in front of city buildings and proudly in front of private businesses throughout the state. It is always nice to come up on one in your travels.
Moore has on display at the northwest corner of Main and Broadway, a four-faced free-standing clock which was part of Oklahoma's commemoration of Statehood in 2007.
The clock has Roman numerals, and a banner above the faces shows the date of Moore's settlement: "Est. 1893".
