Old Covered Bridge - Sheffield MA - U.S. National Register of Historic Places on Waymarking.com

Built in 1837, making this oldest covered bridge in Massachusetts. It is also one of the oldest Town lattice truss bridges in the US. On Aug 15, 1994 a fire destroyed the bridge. The bridge is 93 feet long crossing over the Housatonic River. The replacement bridge was completed in 1996.
