This stamp was issued by the government in 1992 for the Barcelona Olympics. This stamp depicts one of the most famous buildings in all of Barcelona, the Sagrada Família church. It was built by none other than Anthoni Gaudi. There were many of these stamps produced, but only a couple thousands are still in tact. It was mainly used as a decorative item for shipping items, but some people have actually collected the entire series of 1992 Olympic stamps. It should be completed by 2026, 100 year anniversary of the death of the architect who first designed it. There are tall towers, and large inside caverns with columns. This is the most impressive church I have even been in. One of the great man made modern wonders of the world for sure.
