Although this church has a Gravette address, it is closer to the small, unincorporated town of Hiwasse, about 2.2 miles east of the church. The church has obviously been added onto several times, but is in excellent condition. It was extablished in 1870, but the date of the oldest section of the building it not known. Above the door it says 1870 1880 1942. It has a graveyard (churchyard cemetery) and a couple of stained-glass windows. Further information can be found on its
