The lookout is accessed via a raised steel boardwalk & is only a short distance from the carpark. A sign at the lookout identifies & names significant places you can see from this vantage point. A sign in the carpark gives detailed information about the national park.
The gravel road to the carpark is 4 kilometres in length & although graded was corrugated for most of its length so drive at an appropriate speed.
