Eric Ainslie Morris was killed when the plane in which he was a passenger , a D.H. Moth, fell headfirst into the ground from a height of 350m .
Eric Morris, 29, of Geelong was a well inown motor cyclist and aviator. The pilot was John Paulden, 23, and the man who had taught them to fly flew above them in another plane
The plane was fitted with' dual, controls. Paulden was in the front cockpit and Morris in the rear.
Morris has been flying for about six years, and in addition to holding his A licence and his commercial ticket about I8 months previous. Paulden had his A licence six months .
