Actor #2 - San Jose, Costa Rica - Figurative Public Sculpture on Waymarking.com

There is no charge to visit the lobby of the National Theatre. Access is available daily 9 to 6.
There are four sculptures representing performance arts...dancing, and playing a musical instrument. A third figure is more ambiguous. In Waymark WMKTC0 it was surmised that it was a depiction of an actor... but perhaps she represents singing while this figure represents acting.
Here, a young man (the other three figures depict women) wears a toga. His left hand is raised to his neck. His right hand is held by his side...and holds a metallic object that looks like a cross...but perhaps it is the hilt of an otherwise absent sword. The work is otherwise made from marble.

Unfortunately there is no sign at the site indicating the artist, title or date.
