This figure of Abraham Lincoln depicts him as a boy around 15 years old sitting on a tree stump with one foot bent and being used to rest his right elbow. He holds a copy of Aesop's Fables in his left hand which he seems to be contemplating. The work is presented in front of a model of a log cabin.
