Smithsonian Description:
A pair of mountain lions is installed at the entrance of the Living Desert Reserve. One lion is draped on a wall, looking down at the second lion who is reclining on the ground, head held high in an alert pose.

The Living Desert (visit link) is a large public desert botanical garden and a zoo that covers 200 developed acres and 1000 acres left in their natural state.
