It was originally on 7th Street at Railway Street in Morden, Manitoba which is about 6 kilometres west of the Museum.

The Station was designed in 1899 by Ralph B. Pratt and the same plans were used in Winkler, Boissevain, Hartney, Kenton and Virden. Construction began in 1905 but wasn't completed until 1906. It was used as a train station until the late 1960's and was moved to the Museum in 1972.
In addition to the typical freight room, office and waiting room on the main floor, there were spacious living quarters on the second floor for the Station Agent.
