I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geological Survey and State Survey BM in poor condition. The concrete post the BM is monumented in has been compromised, possibly by road equipment and is leaning to one side. The disk face has also been scuffed up pretty good. The disk contains the elevation stamping of '4484.475 Feet'.
It's amazing to see this BM still here after all these decades. Although there is no Monumentation date, I'm guessing it was placed here in the 1930s based off other disks of this type I've recovered in the past. My more accurate coordinates will place you very close to this mark.

ABOUT 0.8 MILE NORTH ALONG SULLIVAN LANE FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH I STREET AT SPARKS, AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF WEDEKIND ROAD AND SULLIVAN LANE, 33.1 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF WEDEKIND ROAD, 27.4 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF SULLIVAN LANE, 4.6 FEET SOUTH OF A CORNER FENCE POST, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.3 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.
