Depicted small hydroelectric power station is a part of Klecany waterwork located on Vltava river ca 10 km north of Prague.
Small hydroelectric power station Klecany, working at maximal water flow 2×21 m³/s, is equipped by two semi-Kaplan turbines Hydrohrom SSK 2300. Every turbine drives horizontal asynchronous generator with nominal output 450 kW. The older power station, built here in 1985, was equipped by four 40 kW Kaplan turbines CKD Blansko. The plant was modernized and rebuilt in 1999-2001 using Hydrohrom technology.
