Depicted Klecany (Zdymadlo Klecany), a key part of Klecany waterwork, is the first waterway lock on Vltava (Moldau) river north of Prague.
Klecany waterwork, built in short time in 1897-1898 and reconstructed several times during the 20th century, nowadays comprises the depicted waterway lock, navigation channel and mechanical three field weir with small hydroelectric power station. The lock is located on the end of 940 m long navigation channel leading from the Klecany weir along Vltava river's left bank. The lock has two consecutively situated chambers (59L×11W and 133L×20W in meters).
