Depicted Klavary Lock (Zdymadlo Klavary) and mechanical weir are the key parts of Klavary waterwork on Labe (Elbe) river in Central Bohemia region of the Czech Republic.
The Klavary waterwork was constructed in 1933-1949 and reconstructed in the 1960s. The waterwork consists large single-boat waterlock chamber (85 m long, 12 m wide, with minimal depth over nipper 3.00 m) and mechanical three-field weir with Stoney-type flowgates. The small hydroelectrictic station (1600 kW power output) was installed on the weir in 1997.
