In Needham, at the corner of Highland Avenue and May Street, is St. Joseph Church, which has this modern spire.
The church is on the northeast corner of the intersection. The church is located right to the sidewalk, and the spire is at the end over the main entrance that faces Highland Avenue.
The spire is an open structure. The base on the roof is cubic in appearance with a grate-like texture. Four spire-structures start from the roof, then bend over the base and come together, then rise vertically to the top. Along the vertical rise are four golden hoops around the spire. At the top is a feature that looks like a crown. Above, is a small sphere, then a cross.
