This carving of one of his best masterpieces is depicting a painting that is on display inside the museum. It is a 3D representation of a 2D piece of art. One of the most famous, if not the most famous, Spanish painter ever. This statue is located right outside the main entrance to the Museo del Prado, where many of his paintings are on display. He lived from 1746 to 1828 and is a native Spaniard. His most famous paintings, which are on display in this museum are The Third of May, The Nude/Clothed Maja, and others. This is a tribute to the man that defined Spanish painting to the rest of the world.
