The meeker Library is located in the small downtown area, at 616 W. Carl Hubbell Blvd. This is a brick storefront, painted white. The library has a down-home, inviting appearance with his deep porch area covered by a wood and metal shed awning. The multi-pane display windows and the arched window panes in the door give a homey atmosphere.
The library is independent and not affiliated with the larger library systems in the state. They handle approximately 14,000 volumes, with about 5500 transactions per year. They do not have a website, and the library is operated by a single librarian. They have four computers available to the public, with internet connection. Though open only three partial days a week, they do have a story time program for children.
