The Tahoe Cascades waterfall is located at the drive-up lobby of Harvey's Lake Tahoe casino, 18 Highway 50, Stateline, Nevada.
The water display was placed in memory of Erica Faye Ledbedder in 1987. The setting reflects the many creeks and waterfalls that surround Lake Tahoe, the high mountains collecting the snow and rain of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Lake Tahoe sits between California and Nevada near Highway 80.
The sculpture construction is about 25 feet long, 8 feet deep, and 6 feet high and appears to be made from rocks so prevalent in the area. It occupies a prominent position near the passenger loading area for the casino, and between the hotel and the parking area.
There is no entry fee or formal viewing area. It is visible to all who drop off or pick up visitors to the hotel. The flow of water is usually on during normal business hours.
