A Dempster windmill from the old Thweatt Farm was donated to the City of Coppell in 2003, and it stands proudly in the small heritage park here on the southeast corner of the intersection of W Bethel and S Coppell Roads.

Coppell Heritage Park today occupies just a little more than the street corner here, anchored by the windmill, the old Kirkland House, a small water tower, and an adjacent Minyard's grocery store. There may be future additions here, and the nearby Main Street project will certainly complement it.
