This historic one-room school is located in an area known as LaRue, and at one time was also known as Glade. It uses a Rogers zip code, and is closest to Garfield, Arkansas. The sign on the side of the school says Circa 1928. It is kept in excellent condition. A sign at the door says Country Music Place, but a web search did not reveal any schedule of regular music events at the school. There is a youtube video of a band playing at Coal Gap School.
