The austere neo-Gothic cross is probably the last relic remembering former town's cemetery (located here), which was abolished in the half of the 19th century. Black cross with white painted Corpus Christi, made from cast iron, stands on prismatic pedestal with Gothic motifs.
Baroque Church of St. Bartholomew (Kostel Sv. Bartolomeje), built in 1665-1690, is the main historic landmark of town Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and also parish church of local Roman Catholic parish.
