The Pinjarra boat ramp is located at the end of Henry St, downstream from the traffic bridge, the ramp is quite steep so caution is advised if using it. The river here is a popular flat water paddle as the river meanders through marri and red gums with abundant birdlife. A few hundred metres upstream there is a weir across the river
