In 2009, the T'Sou-ke First Nation was named Canada’s first Aboriginal solar community after the installation of a large system of solar panels and solar hot water heating. They later installed this charging station in early 2013, making it the first completely solar-powered charging station. It's a Schneider EVlink unit with two Level 2 J1772 connectors.
