Built in 1952 #1149 was a 1-B-1 experimental gas turbine locomotive built by Davenport-Besler Corporation. It was powered by two Boeing 502-2E. 150 H.P. jet engine type gas turbines. It was tested by the Army at Fort Eustis VA. R. Tom Sawyer donated it in 1980.
