The Methodist Episcopal Church purchase the house in 1885 as a parsonage for Rev George H Clark as pastor. In April 1912 the church closed and merged with the Federated Churches group. Prior to the church owning the property, earliest records show a Charles Parsons owning it in 1848 and some year previous. The are multiple reverends occupying the parsonage, changing almost every 2 years from 1885 to 1912, with a count of 14 people during those years.
