Cette vieille cloche est probablement la première cloche erigée dans le clocher de l'église de Saint-Georges. Elle est maintenant située sur le terrain du presbytère de Saint-Georges, à Cacouna, au Québec. Des renseignements sur un site web indique que le "20 Octobre 1820, la fabrique décide d'acheter un carillon de trois cloches pour remplacer la petite cloche, don du seigneur Fraser, bénite le 12 Octobre 1820." This old bell is most probably the first bell mounted in the steeple of Saint-Georges's church. It is now located on the grounds of Saint-Georges's presbytery, in Cacouna, Québec. Correspondence on the internet states that on "20 October 1820, the church decided to purchase a three bell carillon to replace the small bell which was gifted to the church by Seigneur Fraser and blessed on 12 October 1820."
