The cornerstone of the Tone building dates it to 1929. It was originally the site of the 1918 Timmons garage repairing Model T Fords. Mr. Tone was an accountant who took the property and closed the garage. The building has had many uses including a theater, a movie theater, an archery range, a deli, a church and a shirt and baby shoe factory. Currently it is a barbecue restaurant.
