This metallic sculpture depicts a life-sized man and woman. The woman stands and is singing and the man sits while playing guitar. Although there is no sign indicating the title, date or artist, this work is no doubt intended to portray Portugal's unique music genre- Fado.
Fado is a brand of music based in very sad, mournful lyrics and tunes.
A sign beside the work advertises Fado as a national patrimony of Portugal.
