Patricia Beach has 2.5 kilometres of natural sand beaches on Balsam Bay on the eastern shores of Lake Winnipeg. Inland, there are 54 hectares (133 acres) of active sand dunes which are sparsely covered with grasses and shrubs and marsh habitat surrounding Beaconia Lake.
