This sculpture of three larger than life colored cows is located next to the town hall of Mulhouse.
They were created by artist Renato Montanaro in 2001.
The sculpture is the result of an municipal initiative called "sculptures en ville": Each year the town exhibits several sculptures of a local contemporary artist in public spaces for the summer season, after that temporary exhibition the municipality acquires one of the exhibits that stays on it location permanently.
