In 1906 the quartermaster's store, or exchange, was built. Five years later, in 1911, this 1 1/2 storey brick quartermaster's storehouse was built. Strangely, though, it is situated quite a distance from the exchange building.

The warehouse now houses the Fort Missoula Historical Museum.
