Le cénotaphe est situé dans un parc dédié aux résidents de Causapscal et des environs qui ont donnés leurs vie pour la liberté durant la première et deuxième guerre mondiale. En plus du cénotaphe, on peut y voir un canon antiaérien Bofors 40 mm et un mât de la paix.

The cenotaph is located in a park dedicated to the memory of Causapscal and area residents who gave their lives for freedom during the First and Second World Wars. In addition to the cenotaph, a Bofors 40 mm cannon and a Peace Pole can also be seen.

Description of Memorial:
Le cénotaphe de Causapscal est situé dans un parc dédié aux vétérans et a ceux qui ont donnés leurs vies au cours de la première et de la deuxième guerre mondiale. Le monument mesure environ 10 pieds de haut. Les insignes de l’aviation royale canadienne, de la marine royale canadienne et de l’armée canadienne sont gravés autour de la croix sur le monument. On peut aussi y voir un vaisseau avec une flamme éternelle et les années 1914-1918 et 1939-1945. Le monument comprend aussi une base en ciment, un socle en granit et une plaque en bronze avec deux baïonnettes entrecroisées et les noms des résidents de Causapscal et des environs qui sont morts durant ces deux conflits. Le monument est à la vue de tous dans un parc a proximité du site de pêche de Matamajaw. The Causapscal cenotaph is located in a park dedicated to veterans and those who gave their lives during the First and Second World War. The monument is about 10 feet high. The insignia of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Canadian Navy and the Canadian Army are engraved around the cross on the monument. A vase with an eternal flame, as well as the years 1914-1918 and 1939-1945, can also be seen. The monument also includes a concrete base, a granite pedestal and a bronze plaque with two crossed bayonets and the names of the residents of Causapscal and area who died during these two conflicts. The monument is in close proximity to the Matamajaw fishing site.
