The Wembley Picture Theatre and Gardens were designed by architect Frank Coote and constructed in 1937,the picture gardens were originally located to the west of the cinema bulding.
In 1961 the building was renovated as Wembley lodge by JLC Zelinski for Messsrs Horawicz and Zen and in 1962 the picture gardens were demolished.
A fire in 1980 extensively damaged the building, which was subsequently rebuilt, however only the facade remains of the original building.
