Set toward the back of Veterans Memorial Park, this beautiful area is set aside for a memorial to Gulf War veterans. The hilly backdrop behind the monument, especially around sunset, provides a moving atmosphere.

This monument serves to honor all veterans of the Persian Gulf War. Specifically, one individual - Manuel Davila - is mentioned as being the only Wyoming service member to give his life during the Persian Gulf conflict.

The center of the monument features a map of where the conflicts took place, and includes the tribute to Manuel Davila. The monument is flanked by lists of soldiers, sailors and airmen from Wyoming who served in the war.
