Located in front of the Greg and Stacey Renker Pavilion on the Eisenhower Medical Center campus is a figurative sculpture of two human figures dancing together. This sculpture is very similar in style and flavor as a nearby sculpture located in front of the Barbara Sinatra Children's Clinic (visit it
here) by artist John Kennedy titled
Metamorphosis. My hunch is that this sculpture was created by Kennedy. There is no plaque or inscription on the sculpture to identify it either by title or by artist. This sculpture was not part of Kennedy's collection on his website, but again, if one compares this sculpture to
Metamorphosis as well as sculptures on Kennedy's website, the similarities are very distinct.
All of Kennedy's sculptures including this one are very wispy, fluid in nature, and all evoke a sense of emotion and as each piece captures a particular moment in time.
