The prismatic tower with massive stone pillars at its base was together with adjoining Old Town Hall reconstructed and changed many times. Originally Gothic structure was after devastating fires in years 1769 and 1775 reconstructed in the late-Baroque style (1789). The belfry of Old Town Hall is known thanks to unusual Art-Nouveau astronomical clock.
