Heading home is a graphic display depicting the salmon run, which is common on the nearby American River. The sculpture depicts river rapids with salmon (or other fish) jumping up stream in their quest to reach their home breeding grounds.

The sculpture is the work of David Rible, 1990. It appears to be painted metal although it may be ceramic. It shows blue waves and gray fish jumping up stream. The artwork is approximately 5 feet high and 6 feet long, in three vertical panels. It shows blue waves, gray fish, and white foam.

The work appears on the corner of Turn Pike Drive and Hopfield Drive, Folsom, California. It is part of a street-long art display which spans the length of Turn Pike Drive.
