Reminiscent of rolling hills, this sculpture is labeled Tough Run - a series of curved tubes that look like the hills surrounding Folsom, California. The gray slopes somehow remind me of running on cobble stones.
Material is unknown, but with the blue-green patina, it may be bronze or copper. These appear to be tubes that were bent into shape.
This art is part of a housing development project along Turn Pike Drive in Folsom, California which features a work of art on almost every major intersection along that street. This piece is located at the corner of Hopfield and Turn Pike Drive.
