The only one level at-grade school building from this period, it was an innovative design for its time. It was built in 1915.

A U shape building with unusual carved stone detail. Greenfield experienced its largest population growth between 1890 and 1920. During this period the population almost doubled requiring the building of 10 new school buildings. This building is located on the site of the James Newton farm, who operated as sawmill on the river.
