Ford and Haig was opened by John Ford and his wife over 50 years ago. The shop has a walk-in humidor and sells cigars, pipes, and pipe tobacco. Former customers include Bill Cosby and Milton Berle, and many professional baseball players stop by during spring training in the Valley.
This Indian has long been Ford and Haig's symbol - it is in their profile picture on their Twitter account, for instance. It is well preserved but showing some cracks and chips. It holds a bunch of cigars aloft in its right hand.
