EN: The house on the Sevogelstrasse 69 dates from the year 1889. It was built by Rudolf Friedrich (1853-1927). The client was Emanuel Sandreuter, the brother of the painter Hans Sandreuter (1850-1901), who was known as the closest disciple of Arnold Böcklin.

Hans Sandreuter also created the Art Nouveau murals at the upper floor, which are executed in sgraffito technique. The pictures show musicians and singers in antique-style clothing.

DE: Das Wohnhaus an der Sevogelstrasse 69 stammt aus dem Jahr 1889. Es wurde von Rudolf Friedrich (1853-1927) erbaut. Der Auftraggeber war Emanuel Sandreuter, der Bruder des Malers Hans Sandreuter (1850-1901), der als engster Schüler Arnold Böcklins bekannt war.

Von Hans Sandreuter stammen auch die Jugendstilwandbilder im Obergeschoss, die in Sgraffiti-Technik ausgeführt sind. Die Bilder zeigen Musiker, Sänger und Sängerinnen in antikisierender Kleidung.
