The Plaque on the side of the loco states:
Restored in 1981 by the Rotary Club of Lithgow & placed in this park as part of Lithgow's history. This loco was made in Scotland 1951. Installed Hermitage Colliery hauling coal, Lithgow 1952. Transferred to Lithgow Valley Colliery 1967 , finished work 1969. Capable of hauling a gross load of of 130 tons on grade of 1 : 100.
Both the plaque & the loco remain in reasonable condition.
