The ceiling in the cafe (Red Kelly's) is pressed metal & quite attractive. I had lunch there & it was delicious. The cafe was packed otherwise I would have asked permission to take a photo of the ceiling. Something for the visitor to do.
Portland was once Australia's largest producer of cement & is actually named after the process used to produce the cement.
