Maxima II is the name of a sculpture fountain created by Jean-Marc Gaillard in 1997. It is located on a square in the town center of Arlesheim, between the tramway station and the post office.

The bronze column is about six meters high and covered with 54 icons related to local history from the prehistoric times to the recent past. There is water flowing down the column on all sides. A plaque at the basin has a short explanation for the icons.
