Located at 491 Comal Avenue is the 1852 home, now preserved as a museum and NRHP site. The granite marker is right along the road, thus accessible at all hours.

Duplicate THC entries for this marker. #2536 references the 1936 granite centennial marker, while #3089 cites the medallion which is over on the home itself (Plate appears to be missing).
