Location: The official address and primary entrance to Lynwood Park is at 7 Sycamore Drive, Ottawa, Ontario. The park stretches, along its longest dimension, for about 250 meters from that Sycamore Drive entrance on the west, to the park’s eastern boundary at Ridgefield Crescent. The park sits a bit to the east of the center of the Bells Corners neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario. Bells Corners is a small, largely residential, community, formerly part of the City of Nepean before it was annexed by the City of Ottawa. Bells Corners is entirely surrounded by the City of Ottawa's Greenbelt.

Description: Lynwood Park is one of the largest parks in Bells Corners. It gets its name from the Lynwood Village neighbourhood within Bells Corners. The park is notable as the site of the Lynwood Park Tennis Club, whose four fenced and lighted courts are among the most used in the community. The park is largely situated beneath a corridor of high voltage power lines, which make the terrain unsuitable for alternative uses. Although the park contains some trees, both evergreens and deciduous, the terrain is generally flat, and is maintained primarily as a large grassy lawn. There is parking available at both the Sycamore Drive (west) and Ridgefield Crescent (east) ends of the park. Pedestrian and bicycle paths, mostly paved, run throughout the park.

The park’s size allows it to include a variety of recreational facilities. These include the Lynwood Park Tennis Club and courts in the northeast corner, a ball diamond in the southwest corner, an outdoor basketball court near the eastern boundary, a chess/checkers table, a sandy play area with play structures and “parental observation benches” in the western portion, and soccer fields in the eastern portion. The same areas used for soccer are also used for the local T-Ball league. From approximately late-December through early-April, situated just south of the tennis courts, there is also a boarded ice-rink suited to hockey and recreational skating, though, depending on the weather, the ice surface is not always conducive for skating throughout all of that period.

Lynwood Park appears in the City of Ottawa's database of municipal parks, and is searchable on Google Earth, Google Maps, with images of the park available on its associated Street View feature.
