Grade 11 listed building.
The walls are 6ft 11ins high and 1ft 9ins thick and of brick construction with saddleback brick copings.
There is a 4ft 6ins opening with a wrought iron gate.
The ground is of gravel.
A very informative notice board gives the history of the pinfold, Scarrington village and the horseshoe pile.
This unusual circular pinfold is very similar to those in the nearby villages of Flintham and Screveton and may well have been constructed by the same builder in the early 19th century.
Restoration was carried out in 1988 and 2012.
Approximate dimensions: Round 20ft 6ins diameter.
 Condition: Well preserved or restored
 Marked by sign?: yes
