This loco was made in Scotland in 1951. It was installed at the Hermitage Colliery hauling coal. It was transferred to Lithgow Valley Colliery in 1967 finishing work in 1969. It was capable of hauling a gross load of 130 tons on a grade of 1 in 100.
The Lithgow Rotary Club restored it in 1981 & put it on display as part of Lithgow's history.
