Considered my many to be the festival that kicks off "festival season" in the Bay Area.

An annual art and wine festival along one of the main streets in Mountain View, the street is closed off to vehicle traffic for the weekend to make way for artists, musicians, food and drink from all over. There are play areas for the kids, demonstrations from local businesses, and a classic car show. Usually early in May, this festival is considered by many local fans as the "kickoff" to a long summer of street fairs and art festivals.
